beatonna 's first comic book from a while back, NEVER LEARN ANYTHING FROM HISTORY! She is so cute, I wish I knew enough about history and art history and literature to be able to create such amazing comics. All I have to work with are video game comics aiyaaaa I need to LEARN MORE! From history! Hahaha.
2 days ago marked the completion of Donny Awesome! I am kind of proud of myself for finishing a comic, but then again, it was a really nonsensical and sloppy one haha, so I guess it only half counts. Now what do I do during lunch? I used to draw comics every day but I guess I'll just draw everything else that isn't comics.
My roommate isn't here this weekend because she flew home for a doctor's appointment, so my room feels kind of lonely now. I am slowly taking over her deskspace with the excessive amounts of lined paper I use for calculus and essay writing.
I've been doing NaNoWriMo since November 1st, but I haven't been reaching the daily word count goals at all! I was really struggling in the beginning (and still struggling) because it just didn't feel like writing what I was writing. I restarted twice before I decided with plot to try and write out. Those NaNo pep talks were really motivational and funny, especially the one from Gail Carson Levine!
I've realized I always have tons of story ideas in my head but it would always just be a single scene. I would never have enough courage to rip it up and flesh out a true story. This is why I'm a bio major instead of a lit major gosh. I've also realized that writing fiction again has made me improve my writing tone in general. I mean, this blog post is so... NOT THAT INFORMAL HAHA.

Alright, anyways, I played some P4 today for the first time since I left for college (OTL) and it was during the camping trip! I... I almost died laughing so a comic representation would be kind of cool.

I have been making basic concept diagrams all weekend. There is an 8 page long cellular respiration and phtosynthesis diagram taped to my closet door. There is a quick redox one on my wall. Some sketches of people with speech bubbles of integration methods etc. Now isn't this educational?

Okay so on Saturday, my roommate Tammy and I decided to be brave and take public transportation for the first time since getting to this city. It's the first time I took public transit of my own volition since... never. Anyways, I was a little bit nervous about getting lost or worse, STRANDED in this unfamiliar place. BUT. I MADE IT IN THE END OKAY. Here are pics from my phone of the delicious adventure.

Sometimes, if I think of something disgusting, like a smelly bathroom, I will get really nauseous and want to upchuck my lunch. This happened during lunchbreak today while I was drawing Donny Awesome.
Since I was feeling not so good, I looked around frantically for a trashcan in case the worst happened. The only trashcan I saw was this one.
I thought "wouldn't it be ridiculous if you need to throw up and this is the only trash can and you have to CROUCH down and aim your mouth at the opening just so you can do it?" It would also be embarrassing? Maybe I should just upchuck in the bushes.
Anyways, trash cans with holes opening from the top are the best.

Today I passed my driving test so I can officially drive legally now YEAH. But it's sort of pointless without a car so oh well. At least I will have cheaper insurance when I do get a car.
Today I experienced a huge disappointment.
I bought 2 cups of those little flan/pudding thingys because they are delicious. But when I opened one of them, there was MOLD GROWING ON IT. The other was alright but I was afraid to eat it. They cost me 2 bucks. I need a refund. I FELT TERRIBLE. Like your hopes and dreams crashing down on you when you lose in a boxing tournament.
